The Comfort Inn Suites Miami (3901 SW 117th Ave, Miami, FL 33175) is the recommended hotel for all SAGA Days participants. It is the responsibility of the participant to make all lodging accommodations and all travel cost are at your own expense. If you want to save on rooming cost, please reach out to other attendees through the FIU SAGA Days 2019 Facebook Group.
Transportation will be provided during SAGA Days for scheduled events only. Anyone not staying at the host hotel will need to make arrangements to and from FIU for all SAGA Days activities.
SAGA will provide transportation to and from the MIA and FLL airports to participants flying in on Sunday, February 24th and departing on Tuesday, February 26th. Flights coming into Ft Lauderdale International Airport must arrive no later than 12:30pm. Pick up will be at 1:00pm. Flights coming into Miami International Airport must arrive no later than 1:30pm. Pick up will be at 2:00pm. Flights leaving on Tuesday, February 26th, should leave no earlier than 4:30pm. Once your travel itinerary is confirmed, please share the details with the SAGA Days Committee at SAGAdays@gmail.com.
If you arrive before Sunday, please arrange for your own accommodations and transportation on those dates.
SAGA Days Attire
Please plan to bring 2 business attire outfits and 1 business casual outfit. Please keep in mind that Miami weather is unpredictable, so please plan accordingly. Also, while it is very warm outside, it can be cold inside, so a sweater or jacket may be beneficial. Please remember to pack comfortable shoes. Additionally, there will be an off-campus social, so please pack a smart casual outfit.
